If I had the resources, I'd be looking for any black walnut trees to take down and trim for market.
I'd look at my 16 inch and then the tree, and decide to sell it as is, and watch them take it away, after getting the check...:)
My dad used to scout the county roads looking for good wood...:)

I had to borrow my brother's Husquverna chain saw to cut some fallen trees that came down on my back yard fence. The chainsaw is big and heavy but it went through the tree like hot knife through butter. Very effortless but it was hard to start and when it got hot, it stopped working...or maybe I ran out of gas. LOL I don't know. It was my first time using a gas powered chainsaw that big. I have one of those electric pole saws that plug in. I can't imagine a battery chainsaw would have enough power to do what i did yesterday. When you do a review on this Dawalt, let us know about battery life and power. And what level of work can it do. thank!!!! I am thinking of buying a chainsaw of my own.
