You say that emphatic 'do', 'does', 'did' are never used in questions. But we do use them in subject questions: "I thought MacHardie & Company would go on forever". "What does go on forever, Alfred ?" (J.O'Hara).
Unemphatic variant: "What goes on forever?"

Please make a video about PASSIVE REPORTING VERBS because I have watched lots of videos on Youtube but they make me quite confused if V1 and V2 are in the simple past tense or V1 is in simple past tense and V2 is in the past continuous tense. They have many versions of those, so the more I have watched, the more I become confused.
Ex1: They said Tom killed the man.
Version 1: Tom was said to have killed the man.
Version 2: Tom was said to kill the man.
So, which one is correct?

Ex2: They said Tom was watching TV.
Version 1: Tom was said to have been watching TV.
Version 2: Tom was said to be watching TV.
So, which one is correct?

Is it wrong to always use did as an emphasis when telling a story?I really want to avoid having a mistake using my tense so, I want to always use did before the verb like instead of I WANTED TO BE WITH HER BUT SHE REJECTED ME I will just say I DID WANT TO BE WITH HER BUT SHE DID REJECT ME
