Do Does Did Done - English Grammar Lesson
Показать описание
In this English grammar lesson, we learn the difference between DO, DOES, DID and DONE.
We look at the verb TO DO in the present tense (do/does) and in the past tense (did).
We learn about the past participle DONE and how it is used with HAVE + DONE (perfect tense) or BE + DONE (passive voice)
We see how TO DO can also be used to replace a verb when the meaning is clear or obvious.
In the next section, we look at using DO and DOES to make questions in the present simple tense and DID in the past simple tense.
We then look at why DO can appear more than once in a question:
e.g. Do you do exercises every day?
We explain the difference meanings/uses of DO in this question.
Finally we look at using DO, DOES and DID to give emphasis that what you say is true.
e.g. I did study for the test.
