Klavdiya Kitanova (vocals, percussions, didgeridoo) and Anton Yanachkov (guitar, tamboura, percussions) are a pagan folk duo whose sub-genre they determine as ritual/symbolic folklore.

Ksana (occult meaning) – “the favourable moment”, “temporal center”

KsANa is inspired by their love of European folklore, Mother Nature, and a lifestyle alternative to mass culture. The duo bridges timelines between ancient history, world cultures, and lands of mystical imagination via honoring pagan pantheons and worshiping Nature. Their music flows low down to Mother Earth, thus bringing one's body and soul closer to its origin.

KsANa is currently working on their first album with the working title ORPHIC, where they plan to gather and focus the power of Mother Earth, Her secrets hidden in the mountains and forests, as well as the ancient feeling of going back to one’s roots, which is sacred to every human being. KsANa isn't a musical project. It's the way we live our lives on this planet.
