Love the idea of buying an rs6 while they're cheap cause I think this early gen will increase in price but the thought of something going wrong on one really frightens me as an investment 😅

I actually like the 987 more as a Boxster than a Cayman, the proportions of the Cayman always look odd to me, whereas the 981 is fantastic as either. For £10k, assuming it's in decent condition, that's a hell of a car!

The rest of this list are obviously pricier to run, although the XKR and SL55 are very special things. Obviously I'd have the Porsche in this case though...edit, or maybe the XKR, I do like those a lot.

Looked at the 987 & like yourself, did my homework. The IDF bearing put me off! The Maserati? No, too much to go wrong! The Jag? Hmmm, not practical enough. The Audi was in my target zone but the V8 has timing chain issues. I looked at the Merc SL but the suspension issues put me off that. I Did buy a 2010 AUDI S5 Convertible which is quick enough, practical, fairly fuel efficient, very reliable & is my every day car. OK, it wasn't under £10k when I bought it but looking at the others you have suggested, I would gladly spend the extra £3500. Another great vid JB, Thanks.
