About a few years ago, Toyota's RAV4 was launched and helped to pioneer Toyota's new crossover SUV lineup. After years, there are many more crossover SUVs like these, but the RAV4 still makes way as the best-selling SUV in the world. The all-new Toyota RAV4 is not completely redone, for it is mainly a carryover from the 2021 RAV4.
Several Toyota RAV4 trims have new wheels. The XLE Hybrid trims have a brand new wheel color, while the XLE Premium Hybrid, have a new design for the wheels. Another upgrade is for the lighting of the 2022 RAV4. The RAV4 XLE models have new headlights as well. Also, the XSE Hybrid has sleek new vertical lights, which were first introduced for the 2021 RAV4 Prime XSE model.
Moreover, the 2022 RAV4 has some interior updates. This includes LED interior lights, a locking glove box for all trims, an 8-way power passenger seat in the Limited trim, and illuminated interior switches for the XLE and above trims.
Under the hood, the 2022 Toyota RAV4 has a 2.5-L engine block constructed.
Additionally, the TV-AWD system works in concert with the Multi-Terrain Select that delivers best-in-class off-road capabilities.
This Toyota melds capable of handling with a comfortable ride. While it's not as light on its tires as some other smaller crossovers, it takes turns with composure and exhibits little body roll. The suspension soaks up larger bumps in the road with ease, though a fair bit of outside noise makes its way into the cabin.

Build construction and fit and finish are the name of the game with the 2022 RAV4. The whole cabin feels solid, and most materials are of good quality. Higher trims are a little more upscale, but the top-end RAV4 models still fall short of the luxury-like quality of some rival compact SUVs.
The 2022 Toyota RAV4 offers approximately 70 cubic feet of cargo volume behind the first row. When the second-row seats are in their normal positions, this Toyota model has a cargo capacity of slightly less than 38 cubic feet. According to EPA projections, the vehicle has an interior passenger volume of just under 138 cubic feet wrapped in durable fabric, the driver's seat has a six-way design.
The RAV4 SUV seats five people.
An upgrade is available to an eight-way driver's seat that is trimmed in the patented SofTex upholstery. This compact Toyota crossover SUV also offers heated front seating with orange contrast stitches. The 2022 RAV4 is loaded with scores of signature features.
The RAV4 XLE Weather Package is perfect for drivers who live in cold weather climate. The package includes a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel to keep drivers warm and even rain-sensing variable intermittent windshield wipers with de-icer to keep the view clear.
