I've been constipated my entire life. Tried every diet, every fiber pill on the market. Magnesium citrate was my best friend and never went anywhere without it for years. Now that I've completely eleminated fiber of every form known to man and eating a carnivorous way of eating has my constipation was completly resolved! Amen, I tell ya this is the best woe for my bowels.

Taking nearly all fibre out for 2 weeks so far and I only have to wipe once now instead of ten times...its insane, I also have almost zero flatulence when before it was literally constant!

As always, when it comes to matters of biology, the evolutionary paradigm is particularly useful when assessing the truth or falsehood of a particular claim coming from the industry funded experts. If fiber were so essential to human health, how did humanity thrive for millennia in frigid climates, particularly during the Ice Age? How do certain tribal societies live today in arctic climates. Foods high in fiber simply cannot grow in such cold environments, in any sufficient degree, to where human beings could consume the modern RDA of fiber. In order for these experts to maintain the view of how indispensable fiber is, they would have to posit that for most of human history, these people endured massive constipation and early death from colon cancer.

Not sure why, but if I eat more than a VERY small serving of veggies, I get stomach cramps. I have gotten them all my life from veggies, but did not realize it was from the veggies until I went about 98% carnivore. Then my stomach started feeling much better! No cramps.

The fruit and vegetable study that's cited: "In conclusion, this 24-day fruit and vegetable intervention trial showed no beneficial effects on oxidative DNA damage or expression of DNA repair genes. This may suggest that the antioxidant properties or effects on oxidative DNA damage play little or no role in the cancer preventive effect of fruit and vegetables. Alternatively, it is possible that the subjects enrolled in the study were not exposed to any type of oxidative stress that would have produced oxidative damage. Also, it needs to be taken into consideration that the subjects selected for the study had a relatively high habitual intake of fruits and vegetables and were nonsmokers. Additional studies on the effect of fruit and vegetables on oxidative DNA damage in oxidative stress situations are needed to support a role for fruit and vegetables in the prevention of cancer." The conclusion is NOT that there is no positive effect of fruits and vegetable on cancer.

I have Celiac Disease and 3 other autoimmune diseases. If I eat fiber it makes me so sick, it causes an autoimmune response in me. I feel horrid and it tears up my gut! It makes my body hurt bad!! I went keto and found 99% of veggies does this to me so 5 days ago I went Carnivore and feel great! I've lost 4lbs, bloating is gone and I feel good.

There is one great Benefit for Fiber… it easily makes you Feel FULL without high calories intake…. This is particularly helpful for those who want to lose weight or those who doesn’t wanna gain weight.
