Hi everyone, I know it felt like this was never going to be released, but we got there in the end. I don't usually ask for shares, but I spent nearly a year making this, so if you could share it with someone who might be interested that would mean a lot to me! Thanks for watching!

Amazing work! Just a small note, it’s so refreshing to see someone use the Achaemenid royal names in their original form. You did a fantastic job!

It is a great work with top notch accuracy. The way you changed the name of Bombay and Madras to Mumbai and Chennai respectively in 1996 was perfect.

I'm a Chinese college student major in sociology.
I have to point out that it's not proper to regard China, Japan and Korea as buddhist countries.
you can say Buddhism is the largest systematic religion in this area, and influenced its culture a lot, but there always less than 20% in east Asia who really believe in it.
That's totally different from Europeans. recommend you read the books written by C.K.Yang

Asia and Europe have such great history. No other continents compare with Eurasia in terms of their history.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let's give a big round of applause for the greatest mapping channel out there! Incredible job! By far the best video I've seen on the history of Asia!

Amazing work, Ollie! I've watched this video so many times and I can't imagine the amount of work that went into this! ❤️

I'm wondering though what kinds of cities are shown on the map. The most important? The ones with a population over x? I'd like to know what criteria a city has to fulfill to be on the map.

I love asian history and I've just started mapping a few weeks ago because you have inspired me! :D
Love from Germany! 🇩🇪

Это замечательная работа. Определенно лучшая из всех которых я видел. По центральной Азии почти всё сделано идеально. Спасибо за эту работу. Лайк и подписка 👍👍👍

It is simply incredible how much time and effort and RESEARCH went into this! This may honestly serve for the next century as the go-to resource for how borders changed over time in Asia, as I doubt that anyone else will come along and do a better job than you. I will definitely make use of this and your other amazing maps!
