Time will tell! I think it will grow leaves then bolt eventually again. Ask Mr. Google Pants!

Hi, I am new to gardening just noticed one stalk of my collards is sprouting a thick stem with heart shaped leaves and yellow bulbs in the middle. The others look like your standard collard leaves.
Should the leaves look heart shaped? Also, will this larger stalk overwhelm my window box? Thank you
