Guys, be careful during tip 3 : Make sure your fan does NOT spin while being cleaned !! Theoretically if the fan speed ( rpm ) is low enough you will be fine, but best sticking on the safe side. Thanks for the upload, some very good advice in a very short period of time !! :D

Another tip: if you have a disc or game disc inside of the ps4 it may also cause ps4 overlay so if you take it out it REALLY HELPS.

My PS4 sounds like a jet 24/7 so like the whole time it’s on, even when I don’t have any apps running. As soon as I turn it on the fan starts creeping up slowly until it reaches full speed
