3 Minute Math - Simplifying Algebraic Fractions

This is a quick 3 minute reminder video and is just to give a few hints / tips. This video deals with algrebraic fractions and looks at simplifying (x2 - 25) / (x2 + 7x +10).

It’s so simple when you watch it on YouTube. But in the real classroom the teacher stands and explains it for literally 1 straight hour. This guy did it in 2 minutes and I understand.

I am in Yr 11 in an Australian school and doing advanced Maths. i was looking for an easier way to factorise simplify algebraic fractions than what my teacher taught me and you are the best one ive seen so far, you have earned a new subscriber.

Simon you are brilliant. The videos and short instructions are so clear, concise and easy to follow. Glad I found you. I already have an A grade GCSE from a few years ago, so I am using your vids as a refresher, while I contemplate an A level. The A level will have to be an online course because it seems that none of the colleges run A levels that suit adults who work. Any advice in this matter would be much appreciated. Thank-you.
