How to befriend a squirrel

Helps if the squirrel is already friendly, but when you find a friendly one you can making coaxing and clicking sounds to get them to come closer and explore their curiousity to find food.

Wow, i have been feeding squirrels for almost a year off my porch and at best i have one out of 12 that will take pecans from my hand. They would never do this. I love the black colors on him/her.

The past couple of months there’s been a couple squirrels that have been visiting my door, me and my next door neighbors kids feed the squirrel and I really want to get close with it and get to pet it, I tried hand feeding it for the first time today and it was a little hesitant to take it from my hand but it’s not afraid to come close
