This is why firefighters are seen as heros and police are seen as a large gang

Homeboy literally left a bleeding man on the floor to argue with a man that hurt his feelings. The priorities he has is ridiculous.

The cop literally created the entire situation. Dude was peacefully giving his statement to an officer already. No chill. All ego.

The firefighter won the lawsuit and got 325k in damages

It's a dark reality when raising your voice is considered assult against a cop

Cops are envious that firefighters are actually liked and universally respected by the public.

I hate how cops always tell you to “relax” while they create the most tense environment possible

The firefighter was probably affected by a HUGE rush of adrenaline and experiencing an emotional reaction to the situation. Finding a man bleeding to then beginning to perform CPR and to then have law enforcement officers treat him like this…yeah, that’s all bound to have profound effect on him. He was trying to save a life…these officers were more concerned with protecting their egos. Disgusting.

As a firefighter, I think this guy is the real deal. I bet he was a damn good fireman.

As a nurse, I will also say that administering CPR is a traumatizing event for the person giving it. Adrenaline runs high! This detective just escalated things for no reason.

I feel bad for that retired firefighter, he seems like a man with a heart of gold.

This cop was literally overdosing on power. The rage, pride and adrenaline acted just like a drug and he flipped out.

Can you imagine laying in a pool of your own blood, dying while you hear a detective yelling at someone to get off the parking lot instead of coming to help you. What a sad world we live in

"get out of my crime scene" really tells you all you need to know about this sad human being

“Get out of my crime scene” I pray if anything ever happens to me I don’t end up with a detective like this guy 😬

"Get out of MY crime scene!"

This man doesn't see or care about the man dying in front of him. Just HIS crime scene.

“No wonder people don’t give you guys the benefit of the doubt”. Well said.

Most dangerous thing in America is the fragile egos of a lot of police officers.
