What's going on in the Silverleaf neighborhood of St. Johns County? Is it geography or a bad storm season?

Unless he is talking about very tall skyscrapers close to those houses, it does not make a difference whether there are commercial buildings or not. Lightning is going to strike the areas it's going to hit regardless.

I'm wondering if there is something about the ground those houses are built on that makes it more likely than average for a positive ground streamer to form to meet up with the negative one coming from the clouds (lightning bolt). Maybe a lot of iron in the ground, or perhaps an underground water table that's high/close to the surface?

He is talking BS, either he doesn't know anything real about why, or he is covering up what he knows.
