This is great. Before Sew Steady put this out I had discovered that I could use my cpap brackets to do this in the same way. It works great! Coincidently the design is almost identical. Recommend these!

I received this and have installed. Quilting time has arrived and so far, it’s working nicely.
I don’t know if anyone else experienced not being able to separate the clamp, but after completely unscrewing the screw, the clamp finally separated. Maybe, it happened because it was new? But, working fine.

Well everyone, I went to the Sew Steady site, and got a massage."sorry you don't have permission to view this content"... I called them and was told as it's sold out.... and they're going to what appears to be a redo of the sales listing for the second issue... also was told that will be sometime.... at least they didn't blame it on COVID.... but to see that message "you don't have permission". I had permission when I got 3 talbes for my machines from them...

I noticed that you have the sewing machine sitting on top of the table rather than dropped down even with the table top. Can the quilt support system be used if the machine is set into a sewing table?

Question regarding the Suspension System: I have watched the instruction videos, but I recently gave my System its maiden voyage and experienced problems. I am working on a 60" x 70" quilt. I have the four arms installed on my heavy old desk. If I attach the quilt to one short end, the weight of the middle quilt still drags on my table. I then tried installing the middle of the quilt into the arms--the quilt was doubled and then rolled over the black plastic inserts. I do have the stretchy sticky tape over the dowel inserts, which Donelle suggests. The quilt and dowels keep popping off. Even with only one layer of quilt and pressing the clamps tightly shut, when there is movement on the quilt, it does not hold. Any suggestions?

Am not sure how to unwind the support arm. It is curled up on itself. Are there more directions?

Love Sew Steady products... on a different note, I can't believe you're wearing your Apple Watch faccing down... I'd be scared it would get ruined...

My 45 by 50 lap quilt keeps falling off. The clamps are not strong enough. I even turned the fabric in around the holder. What a waste of money.

Can four of them hold up a larger quilt or can you do with two?

System is very disappointing. Clamps are not strong enough to hold the weight of a lap/throw up. The slightless movement of the quilt and the quilt falls out of the clamps. Had to place spring clamps over the system's clamps. Research Weightless Quilter by dime before making this purchase. Customer service could offer little to help after 2 weeks of emails and photos sent - return (at my expense) and they will inspect before they would issue a refund. Really, the clamps are defective.
