I put my guppies into the fish pond when it warms up. They breed like flies and aren't particularly bothered by the goldfish. Hard part is rounding up some of them to restock over winter in the fish room.

My mutt guppies are so resilient, just last week our temps got up in the mid 90's and the pond was sitting at 94! Now i have an umbrella over mine to keep it cooler.

My guppy fry love the springtails that get in to my pond. You can see them hoppng around on the surface and the fry chasing them.

It might be a neat idea to have viewers who buy mutt guppies for mutt guppy ponds let you know so you could keep an informal tally of how many ponds you've seeded! :) Great video! I've never heard a better description of dragon fly larva!

I set one up beside my pond in a half barrel I cut up, weather was great and then went down to 7 degrees Celsius here just north of Toronto, Canada and then the week after went up to 40 degrees.
All the guppies died and now today the weather is only 16 degrees at the end of July.
Want to put more in there but the weather is hard to keep the water stable.

Goes to show that when the natural foods bring out colors our manufactured foods don't, the issue is the manufactured foods/ diets we feed. 🤔 Guppies have too many colors for them not to be "popping" all the time. 👍
