My 2019 Mustang GT recently crossed 30k mile mark. I have owned it since brand new! I give my thoughts on owning my 2019 Mustang GT from maintenance and reliability aspect. This 30k mile review should help potential buyers looking to buy their S550 Mustang GT

While 30k mile on my 2019 Mustang GT isn't necessarily considered to be long term review, it's interesting to see how much the car is costing and most importantly how the Mustang has held up in terms of reliability and build quality

I have a 2014 Mustang GT that I've had since March 2016. I bought it with 8k miles and it has 39k now. I had to have the water pump replaced. Most of my mods are for the suspension (lowering springs, Koni orange struts & shocks, Maximum motorsports caster camber plates, whiteline adjustable panhard bar, whiteline lower rear control arms, steeda upper rear control arm, and whiteline sway bars). I got a K&N CAI, JLT oil catch can, and redline hood struts. I also changed the axleback exhaust to the GT500 style. I changed the gears from 3:73 to 3:55. I currently have the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and like them. I took the Mustang for a couple track/roadcourse days and it was fun. I thought about a 2021-2022 S550 but I like my car so probably will keep it a while longer.

Great video man. I own a 2019 Mustang GT PP1 6-Speed and has about 7, 400 miles now. It is doing great so far and no issues (knock on wood), only thing that I did was I got a recall fixed "reverse camera not tunring on when shift to reverse". I agree with the paint chips thought, it sucks. I need to get my whole hood paint corrected and luckily the bumper is saved, since I wrapped it with 3M PPF.

2018 GT Premium, Carbon package, w/Performance Package 1 & 6 speed. Have had a) right front strut assembly replaced due to a faulty sensor, Ford overnighted the replacement to dealer - no charge; b) exhaust mode selector reprogrammed by dealer, apparently there is a technical service bulletin- no charge ; c) right front suspension damper solenoid wire assembly replaced by dealer at 44, 000 miles $630 - NOT COVERED BY FORD PREMIUM CARE EXTENDED WARRANTY; d) new battery from dealer $220 at 47, 000 miles - 4 1/2 years. I replace engine air filter and cabin air filter myself every 15, 000 miles using Motorcraft parts. Oil change, 10 quarts, at 1, 000 miles and thereafter at 5, 000 mile marker at Ford Dealer with full synthetic $125 +/-. Overall, I love the car, no squeaks or rattles. Alcantara heated and cooled seats are great. Handling is excellent. I’m torn, do I keep this car indefinitely or get an S650, which maybe the last truly great American Pony Car. Happy motoring.

If the climate is gonna be cold (toward winter) then definitely use the CAI, if it’s summer, take it off (and the tune) and use the stock air box. Heat soak is real.

I go to Walmart and buy Mobil 1 oil. For about $36 each. I pay about $15 for filter. And pay $20 to have the oil changed.

Your side mirrors and exhaust tips need to be black IMO. Oh and the hood air vents too.
