Watering/Feeding During the Growing Season - Levels/Frequencies and WHY

This video is about watering and feeding my orchids during the growing season. How I split my orchids into sets so that I can feed different levels and frequencies depending on the orchid types. I've included the TDS levels I use and the PH levels for different waterings.
Please remember, these values are what I use for my orchids in my environment and may not be suited to other environments and orchid types and should only be used as a guide needing possible adjustments for other growing areas especially the frequencies.

Most of my orchids are in sets. Cattleyas grows in the garden ( sunny) and walkway. My front steps is cement and cooler orchids like it here. Then, my porch with indirect light is where my phals are kept. Environment  is important. The humidity is important because some likes it dry and some doesn't. Thanks for sharing!

You are much more sensible than I am, my watering regime is all over the place, basically done on a plant by plant basis. I have to look at what media it is in, what are its water needs, is it scorching hot, did it rain. Yeah, growing season is a bit of a pain, winter is so much easier.

Just as a matter of interest, I know it doesn’t cause any problems, can you measure the ph and tds of the vanda bucket water 11 days later. Bc I use fresh batch every time and if it’s not too bad, I would like to do the same as you. 🙏 thanks

Hi Roger.QQ- in one of your videos you saw a brownish line on the middle of one orchid leave that I believe someone gave you. You identified the reason it had it. Do you remember what that would be? I am having that issue but I don’t know what the cause is? Thank you .
