The funny thing is when QB comes to the 6th skill: “you can drop this and take the other” as if people tend to have 6 skill crews in general 😂

TL;DR for the casual players, 80% of your use sounds like:
Reset everything, put Brothers-in-Arms and Repairs on everyone, and Concealment on everyone except Heavy Tank crews.
Commanders: add Recon & Emergency.
Radio Ops: add Situational Awareness and Comms Expert, and perhaps Firefighting
Gunners: add from Armorer (good for F2P), Deadeye, Snapshot, Designated Target
Drivers: add Engineer
Loaders: add Ammo Tuning, Perfect Charge if you want to snipe, then Intuition
The rest of the slots all sound like they depend on your play style, so you do you and good luck out there!

Remember, Mentor is S tier in this 30-Day free reset window, you can put in your commander, gain 20% crew xp all month long, and right before the free resets end, you change it back to something that suits the tank better

As an occasional and not-too-dedicated player this is easily one of the most useful vid's you've made - TBH, I was counting on this because the crew-skill changes, whilst easy to understand, are also real easy to stuff-up.

13:37 Armorer's RNG reduction is good for autoloaders.
You often need to know whether or not you can clip someone out, having a more consistent RNG makes you more confident to aggro in whenever their hp is a bit lower than your average mag damage

@quickybaby the perfect charge works on arty and does not effect the shot arc.
Edit: Fully tested with 2 conq GC with friend one with one without

I feel like armourer is a god tier skill. Not necessarily because of the less damage RNG (which is still nice, consistency is more valuable than the occasional super high roll) but mainly for penetration. Unlike damage where every point of more damage is useful, penetration is not. If you fire at a 180mm plate with 200mm of pen, the high penetration rolls are useless anyway. You will extremely rarely fire at a plate where you have to rely on that super high pen roll to even get through. On the other hand non penetrations from a super low roll can and will regularly prevent you from penetrating a plate that you should in most cases. For example reducing the chance of a non penetration from 20% down to 10% is a huge consistency gain with no real downside on the other side of the roll spectrum.

I found Coordination pretty useful tbh.
Meds and mobile self-spotting TDs are rather reactionary, and a foe appearing and triggering the ~14% increased aim time allows you to quickly react to it at longer ranges and snap a shot in that you otherwise wouldn't.
Also it allows you to know whether *you* are personally the one spotting the enemy, which can be useful as an early warning system.

7:30 Sound detection can be very crucial depending on the situation. This is because it tells you whether or not the shell is going to land close enough to damage you, assuming you're sitting still. For example, when I'm playing the leFH and an enemy leFH is trying to blind-fire/counter-battery me, I can confidently sit still if sound detection does not go off. This means I'm not interrupted aiming at my target. The enemy leFH might miss by just 1 meter, and I will hear the shell incoming, but if sound detection doesn't go off and I don't move, I know I'm safe.
