FEEDING AMBUSH - coots, geese, pigeons etc

NO TIME WASTING - NO PR!!!
I have been trying to help these 2 families of coots with nests on the water underneath the trees for quite some time, although one family is friendlier than the other, yet recently I am always ambushed by Canada or Grey geese who come and peck me if I ignore them - add to that the scavenger pigeons who will just on everybody's back!!!

What a pity there are some naughty kids who keep jumping in the trees, looking about to fall if lots of rain will uproot further the roots - this will destroy not only the the coots and moorhens' nest but also the poor squirrels being able to come here as they jump from one tree to other across the water.

Life is not easy even in an inner city park like Regent's park packed with day predators like seagulls or crows, even herons and the night predators like owls, foxes etc
