Fairphone 4 - Murena /e/OS Review 4 -- more troubles

Customer service from Murena finally answered, but they just told me to go to their help pages.... which I had already done. I put in another request, and they still have not answered.

Fairphone hardware seems good. The Murena software is pretty bad.
You can't delete the apps that come with the phone, so I just put them into a folder out of the way.

Problems:
Built-in browser has a terrible search function. Also, there is no back button. Swiping allows you to go back, but not forward.
Built-in message app doesn't allow for adding reactions to messages, or report messages as spam.
Built-in maps app doesn't say street names in the directions. It also does not show hours or business details.
Built-in mail app glitches and freezes, and has hours-long delays for sending and receiving mail.
STILL have not been able to figure out a workaround for a digital voice assistant.

Some small good news:
After an OS update, there are now some native wallpaper options in the Settings.

Most of these are not dealbreakers, but the voice assistant is! If I can't find a way to control the phone by voice, I will have to return it. That would break my heart, because I have waited for many years to be able to buy this phone!
