How to lock wattage in Geekvape Aegis Solo 2(S100)

this video is for owners of aegis solo 2 without watt lock function

some of geekvape solo 2 has problem that you can't lock wattage, which causes unwanted extremely high watt and burnt coil
here's a solution you can choose.

press fire button and middle of +- button for 3 seconds(at the same time)

the machine will enter into dark mode. in this mode screen is off, but you can still vape.
and pressing +- button won't change wattage setting also.

when you need to see screen again, use same way to come out from dark mode

I cannot say how many coils I have burnt before finally finding this tuto, thank you so much ! By the way it is a shame that latest software version doesn’t allow anymore the wattage lock just pushing + and - together for 3s, really a shame…

So a way to lock the wattage without having to go into stealth mode is to set the device in VPC mode and set each profile to your desired wattage. It will always fire at that wattage from now on. You're welcome

just chatted with geek vape, apparently they don't care... admitted that many have complained, instructions with device say its possible but not true, said to use stealth mode....s100 is first Geekvape mod and last mod from them I will purchase. not doing firmware updates any more they say..Typical china, a real shame I like the lock switch but lies about what you can do with it are a no go with me.The z tank I like, the mod was perfect in earlier models apparently..

That is for brightness adjust, for wattage lock press + and - at same time for 3-4 seconds

I guess this is the cure. I bought a newer one as my older (VERY OLDER ONE) was barely hanging on. I have now kept the one I bought in a drawer and nursed the old one for over a year because I do not like either not having a hit or having my head knocked off after I pull it out of my pocket.

I've had the V1 for few years now, I'm delighted with it, with a Wotofo Profile X RTA, the top. I bought this V2 for my wife, it is more discreet, a bit smaller, but what a shame to not be able to lock it. It's amazing to make a product, especially a V2, to include features, without testing them before selling the disappointed, especially with the waiting time to fix this

New to this i smoked disposable vapes for a year now and their pretty pricey i just got the s100 an cant seem to find a setting similar to the disposable vapes my lungs feel like im taking a huge puff i cough and little to no smoke comes out .. any recommendations not to mention i have zero clue about omhs or temp setting etc..😢

What firmware version do you have installed (FYI: Power off - Hold + and - for 3 seconds to show)? I have V2.01 and can not lock the wattage or enter stealth mode. I burnt my third coil now and there is no firmware to download on the GV site.
Support does not understand a word, I´m trying to tell...
They send the same answer every time. A manual, how to replace coils. WTF

Same here, the original hold +/- doesn't work. My wife as the same S100 as I have, but with an other firmware (v11) and it' works fine... mine is v2.01. Is it possible the update firmware on those ?

I finally found it how to lock the wattage.
1. Ensure A lock (slide lock is down locked)
2. Press + & - and mod will lock the wattage.

For the people that can lock wattage using the + and - buttons, do you notice when changing the battery the unit will retain the display color?

I got the same vape but it can only go between 60 to 70 watts, is there something wrong with my battery it is there button trick I don’t know yet
