FERRY FIASCO: SNP can't answer when harbour upgrades will let new ferries operate

At the reopening of Holyrood today one of the first questions asked was about the two unfinished ferries at the Ferguson Marine shipyard.

Tory MSP Edward Mountain asked the SNP when the new ferry Glenn Sannox will operational as some harbours need to be upgraded for the new ferry can dock at them.

SNP member Ivan McKee couldn't answer the question.

Just a thought but would the shipyard’s nationalisation have been possible if the UK (or an independent Scotland) were a member of the EU?

The question only occurred to me because I seem to remember that Jeremy Corbyn’s desire to nationalise the railways would not have been possible (if Labour had won the election & the UK were still in the EU).
