It’s okay to feel that why. I felt like that sowhat at the beginning. Just use the love you have for making soft to overpower that feeling

Am currently watching live stream from three days ago. Pausing to describe my attempt at star production. Then will continue playing your video to see how you approach the issue.
I used a cone and divided 360 by 5 to get the angle for each point. Placed a cylinder through the center of the cones. (A sphere would work too.) V-Merged all six parts with very high topology while keeping sharp corners. Masked half. Gizmo stretched then trimmed to get a perfect flat star. You saw it on the back of my book from your tutorial. (Only at that point I added spheres to be the water molecule.) Anyway simply dividing 360 degrees by the number of points get the angle needed then a filler, stretch and trim. Can do this to make spike collars for models. (Ok now I’m ranting) Loving your video so far and am anxious to see the rest…
