Atrial Fibrillation (AF)

Показать описание
In a healthy heart, Normal Sinus Rhythm (NSR) is observed when the heart beats between 60 and 100 beats per minute in a synchronized sequence of atrioventricular contraction first triggered by the sinus node. On the EKG during NSR, visible and regularly spaced p-waves and QRS complexes can be observed. During Atrial Fibrillation (AF), the most common sustained arrhythmia, however, there is a lack of atrioventricular synchrony accompanied by an EKG with an ""irregularly irregular"" pattern of QRS complexes and no distinguishable p-waves.
On the Anatomage Table, users can view both the contractile behavior of the heart during various rhythm types accompanied by the corresponding EKG patters. Users can also reveal the typically ""invisible"" conduction system during these rhythm types including the Sinus Node, AV Node, and Purkinje Fibers.
