How to remove dealership tracking device and kill switch from your vehicle

The best way to look for tracking devices under you dashboard is with a flash light and a mirror. Many tracking devices are connected to you "code reader " just above your brake pedal. When you look at your code reader jack, and you find a foreign piece of equipment plugged into it and fallow the wires and you find a small black box. You know that you have a tracking device installed. Unplug this device see if there are any zip ties holding the wires or device in place. Clip the zip ties unplug the device and remove it. It took me a couple of minutes to find it and a few more minutes to disconnect and Unplug it. In all total, less that 10 minutes to locate and remove. I fell much better having this device removed. You paid for this piece of junk, you can also can rid yourself of it. It's not original equipment. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Happy hunting everyone. And have a great day👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁😁😈

After Anthony Do's watching original video, I just went out to my new 2024 model year Mazda vehicle and found a previously undisclosed plug-in ODB II device. It is made by AVAS, Model No.: AV950. I googled it and it looks like it is used for "marketing and tracking mileage for service and monitoring driving" and who knows what else. Wondering what to do now that I have removed it...

Ha! this guy says he's "being taken advantage of" by the dealer's Buy Here Pay Here plan, which allowed him, someone with admittedly bad credit, be able to get a car to get to work. Work hard, pay your car payment, maybe think about buying a less expensive car, cuz you don't have to show off and not everybody needs pickup truck. Get your credit rating back up and you can deal with a reputable Bank

Mine got me with a ituran tracker. It keeps beeping on my 2017 chevy sonic lt. im a day late on my payment but will pay it on monday since its the weekend……. A invasion of privacy if you ask me. Dont want just anyone knowing where im at all the time or where my significant other works at or lives at. Very dangerous. These buy here pay here dealerships should be rub out of town. Getting rid of my car asap.

I don’t recommend that people do this. You will mostly get your car repossessed by tampering with the device. Most GPS devices notify the finance company when they are tampered with. It’s written in the contracts. Repossession companies have ways of finding vehicles even if a GPS device is removed and even if a person is attempting to hide his or her car.

So you want to have your car simply repoed Instead. Remove it and you'll see a repo guy taking your car even if your up to date on pymts. Cause removing it is destruction of their property cause the car is their property as well.
