While the special effects have gotten my better, in my opinion since reading Hulk comics since the mid 60's, this film most accurately depicts the Hulk and his rage and strength! Acting was great and so was the movie!

You know whats interesting? These things.
This is the most accurate to comic lore iconic hulk we ever got, though, avengers hulk was basically the evolution.
This movie wasn't a failure, it was a huge success, some critics just have bad opinions or lie. Like how madam webb and The Flash are actually great movies and The Flash is one of the best superhero films ever made.
The recast for Edward norton was a huge mistake that for me, ruins most of a great hulk film along with his overly teenage bring me the horizon boy hair.

This movie actually VERY OBVIOUSLY set up the avengers, in the end credits, Tony stark meets with General Ross to discuss a team he's trying to build in the face of potential threats.

This is canonical, so is the second hulk movie and so is the avengers hulk BUT all 3 are different universes. The timeline is linear, but due to 3 recasting it's considered to be different universes that share the same timeline.

This hulk, is actually drastically stronger than the sequel / reboot movie, and his feats are the greatest out of all 3 live action hulk. That COULD be because by movie 2 bruce banner was trying to be more at peace, and a byproduct was a huge loss of power, that returned in movie 3 when he accepted his anger by directing it getting the iconic comic book character right again.

I've always liked the hulk, he's a iconic marvel character for sure. I like every member of the avengers except for "guy who shoots bow very well".... marvel has some extremely strong characters, and dc has even stronger characters. Well, depending on the stories. It's Definitely fair to say that in the live action universes, dc has way stronger characters, but marvel has some that are comparable like doctor strange and his knowledge of multiverse affecting magic.

It's Definitely great that superhero movie became a worldwide phenomenon, while still allowing fans to appreciate more human level characters like James bond.

The progression was done well.

There's a huge amount of lore for many things to explore, one could say that there's too much. But if you're interested, there's a giant abundance.

You can now read comics online, I recommend that, as the official collectors items can be.... very expensive
