That moment before Banner disappeared. The way he looked at her with a face full of apology and sadness. And then the monster came out. That's deep emotional stuff.

I love the bit at 2:58, where Thor is still recovering a bit, and you suddenly see Hulk grab him and you hear a small 'shoof'.

I like that little detail. It shows how Thor sees Hulk as someone who can be reasoned with and not just a monster he has to beat.

Edit: Everyone saying that "hULk IsN't bAnNEr" missed the point I was trying to make. That point being Thor is a much better person in this movie than he was at the beginning of his own. Thor had no idea that Hulk and Bruce were two different people, he was just trying to calm him down. The Thor in the beginning of his first movie would have caved Hulk's skull in and called it a day.

I love Thor's reaction when he first sees the Hulk.

He is a God among mortals and is sure to remind us throughout the movie until this point.

His surprise and apprehension in this scene makes such an impact and really builds a sense of fear in the audience.

Marvel at its best.

Pause at 2:33 Hulk never looked better than this, the detail is spot on.

I just love Thor here. He's the only one, for obvious reasons, who would have any kind of chance with Hulk, so he really gives it his all here. "We are not your enemies, Banner! Try to think!" And then he's like, "Okay, battle time" lol
