Hi, i've a worker service that do really heavy work (real time image processing), i'm searching the best way to give access to this data from outside the service. For example i would like to host an asp net api controller that expose the data of my service (for e.g. the last frame, count of frames, generic infos), what would be the best way to implement this ?

I know that the service can be installed manually, using the sc and similar commands, however I would like to know if there is a way to make it more automated and faster for its deployment with Visual Studio 2019?
Maybe think of an installer project or something!

Hey, after adding the service in the Task Manager, when I try to start it, Windows throws error: "The operation could not be completed. The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". Please help!
