Una delle cose che amo fare in giro per il mondo é lasciarmi sorprendere dalle cucine di tutti i paesi.

Qui mi trovo in New Jersey e sono stata a mangiare in un ristorante dove il cuoco hibachi cucina davanti a te ma soprattutto crea un vero e proprio show davanti ai tuoi occhi ed é davvero divertente!

I used to work as a server at at a Japanese steakhouse decades ago in Athens, Georgia. We had to wear kimonos and everything. This brought back so many fun memories from those days.

And having seen/heard many of these routines I think this chef is really talented.

At my place you could tell which chef was at which table just by the sounds of their salt and pepper shaker routines, or the cadence of their spatulas. New chefs often practiced on a back table before we opened and we got to eat what they made. Each chef developed their own unique routine.

Hearing and seeing this really well-edited video has brought it all back in such a wonderful way. Thank you!

I remember my (Currently passed) buddy and I went to a hibachi grill 2 hours from where we lived and he and I held the record for the longest period of time drinking the sake from the squeeze bottle until he quit and pulled it away. lol
