Ironically the iconic red haven't been serious competitors since Lewis has joined F1 in 2007/8. His best and perhaps only real chance of winning a world championship for them would've had to of been in his first year or two back then against either a prime Kimi or Masa. If Alonso and Vettel Couldn't make anything of it I doubt Hamilton could do much better

Look buddy, trying to feign knowledge about a subject, especially the single thing every enthusiast knows about that subject, is generally a recipe for disaster.
