Показать описание
The OPTIWEB Coating for electric strings provides players the performance of a natural string – that crisp tone, natural feel and playable grip they know and love, but with the long-lasting tone life of ELIXIR Strings. OPTIWEB Coated Electric Strings give uncoated players the best of both worlds.

I have been using Elixir for 15 years, tried others too out of curiosity, but always come back to Elixir.

I'm a long time user and very grateful endorsee of Elixir Strings. They are simply the best out there in every possible aspect from tone, feel and especially string life. Thank you Elixir for continuing to reach higher all the time in your pursuit of excellence on behalf of the music world.

I have these exact strings on my 2007 Epi Les Paul Black Beauty. These have a lot more warmth than the 10-46 Nanowebs, and feel sturdier.

This is like: ''once you go Elixir, you never go back''. Seriously now, for me the Elixir are the most balanced sounding strings from the market. I use them since 4 yrs and i've never put something else on. The only one that were close were the DR strings, that i've appreciated in the past, but the life of them was shorter. (Nanoweb user here)

Every time I'm stuck in a situation where I don't have access to Elixir strings I start to develop chronic back pain. Save a life, use Elixir.

Switched to Elixirs recently. I thought I hated them before because I only tried the Nanowebs which are very lightly coated. I gave the Optiwebs and Polywebs a shot and now I can't go back. Optiwebs are perfect for modern stuff (I have them on my Schecters) and the Optiwebs are perfect for vintage stuff (Got them on my Les Paul and Strat).

Went Elixirs in December on my Gold top and I am so sold on em, , Was suing the GHS Boomers and thought I would never change but after using the Elixirs on my Taylors I figured why not … I don’t have a gig till the first weekend in April so I am gonna experiment and see if these are gonna make the cut, ,right now, I do believe they is make it, ,,,

I bought this strings 2 months ago and using it on ESP Eclipse CTM-1. For the first week they sound really horible like used strings, really, but than somehowe they alived and I can not describe how much I love clean sound going from this strings or a bit overdrived. I ll never buy another strings. "Coated" is not just word they are really durable and they still sound like a new ones, my hands are really sweaty. I was changing strings like every 2 weeks because of broken one or rust or bad sound this ones are like magic for me.

I’ve got some of these on one of my Les Paul’s. I used it for recording today and I could really feel the difference. Smoother and easier to bend. I’ll be using them on some of my others. The cost is a bit prohibitive though.

i play heavy. used to use Ernie ball green packs and would cut thru them every 1-2 weeks. My sweat literally makes my strings rusted after 2-3 studio jams with my band.. switched to Elixir Nanoweb lights and never went back, they are the best on the market!

Elixirs are the best strings on the market, no doubt about that. almost never go out of tune, they don't break...or maybe the High E after a couple of months of intensive use. They have perfect intonation for months, and if they get a bit "dirty", you can just clean them with a string cleaner + cloth and are brand new. Been using for the past 15 years, and will never use anything else on my guitars...

You guys should switch to round core because the coating makes your strings harder to bend than other strings without the benefit of thicker strings. Or change the winding to core ratio.

I've been using the POLYWEBS since the day they were first introduced. They are amazing. I use them on every instrument you make them for. I still use them on BASS even though you foolishly dropped them. I grabbed a couple of cases before that goofy ass move. I HATE the Nanowebs. They just fall apart and look like a fiddle bow after Charlie Daniels plays 100 shows without cutting the loose hairs off. give these a shot and see if I can get through a whole day with them. I'll be back to post.

Would these be suitable for someone with a slight nickel allergy?

I love the feel of nanowebs, but they last me 1 month i don't know why, i use 11's on my les paul and 10's on my strat and i'll buy one more package to them and nope still break them to quick, it surprise me that one set of new nanowebs last me 1 week and regular uncoated strings last me 3 or 4 months reguarly, i do lots of bends

Glad Elixer puts more attention to detail into their strings than they do their video quality. Couldn't afford a high-def camera in 2017?
