A great video with lots of valuable information about Chicago food. There are a few more dishes that are iconic to the Chicago food scene. Bookbinder soup (snapper soup) served since 1930 in the Drake Hotel restaurant. Brownie at the Palmer House Chicago Hotel, made according to the original recipe from 1893, where this cake was first made .Iconic giant sandwiches for the South Side of Chicago, Jim (Gym) Shoe Sandwich (gyros meat, roast and corned beef, tzatziki sauce) at Stony Sub. Pack Shoe Sandwich (gyros, roast and corned beef, chicken, steak) at New Taste Of Chicago. The Greek dish Saganaki, which in 1968 in the Parthenon restaurant was presented for the first time in a spectacular way as Flamed Saganaki. Pizza Pot Pie at Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company . Sweet and Savory Pies at Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits. Cinnamon Rolls at Ann Sather. Chinese and Hong Kong cuisine in Chinatown Square, plus instagrammable cafes with desserts and bubble teas.

Nice work! You really did your homework. Most folks never get past hot dogs and pizza. You got the Jibarito, Chicken Vesuvio, and Italian Ice in there. I would add Harold’s Chicken with mild sauce. The Original Rainbow Cone. And German Food at Laschet’s Inn. Great work tho!!

Lou Malnattis pizza is excellent. Their sauce is outstanding and the deep dish and butter crust is excellent.

Your voice and style of vlog reminds me of watching Food Insider, BuzzFeed, and Watch Mojo. Watching these kinds of videos is both informative and satisfying. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the 'Worth It' adventure! :)

Vito & Nick's for the best crispy thin crust anywhere. For beef go to the source, the place that invented the Italian beef, Al's on Taylor Street. You're welcome!

Other Chicago area foods include pizza puffs, mushroom caps(they are fried), Chicago style tamale, pork chop sandwiches at Jim's Original, Maxwell Street Polish links on a hot dog bun, shrimp de jonghe, Eli's Cheesecake. I think there's more, I'll see if I could recommend others.

Hi Madalyn are you a Chicago native? I am born and raised. I live here and I’m never moving. This is the first video where they list everywhere and everything and why and they get all the best spots a few are missing, but that’s OK. There’s too many to name them all! So curious, are you a local or or a visitor?

Wow I'm honestly impressed with your list !!!Especially surprising that you guys went to La Chaparrita in my neighborhood . If you go back get Tacos Dorado and the Tepache . A few things you left of the list imo was Harold's Chicken a Chicago institution lol Ribs as we live are ribs especially from Carson's and there chicken Vesuvio is awesome ! Rainbow Cone Calumet Fisheries smoked fish is definitely a Chicago thang lol and Our BBQ specifically Rib tips and hot links in an Aqua smoker from Lems Leon's or Windy City . I'm probably forgetting a few things myself but great list and video ! Omg I forgot Maxwell Street Polish and pork chop sandwiches is a absolute must and another Chicago institution
