How to manually set a SIMPLE schedule on the 3rd Generation NEST Thermostat. A complete how to guide on setting a simple schedule on the Google NEST Thermostat so that it comes on for a few hours in the morning, goes off, and then comes on again for a few hours in the evening.

This is slightly different to my other video on setting a schedule. I have been asked time and time again how you set a schedule to come on and go off after a few hours. I hope this explains it.

You need to remember to turn the auto learning off if you want a simple on and off schedule other wise the thermostat may override your schedule based on what it thinks you need.

Been trying to figure this out since Xmas, the whole schedule thing, wasn’t sure whether the heating stays on for a certain time then goes off on its own or not, but now I know to set a high temp to turn it on, then set it lower a hour or so after to ‘turn it off’, thanks a lot for the easy to understand video.
