Hi,
I am planning on buying the Sandisk Card Reader as my 4K video of 6min duration is simply failing to get transferred from my Sony A7RM3.
I have plugged in the USB-C cable to the iPad and the other end to the USB-C port of the camera but it fails.
Is there a limit to how long a clip should be for successful transfers?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m curious as to what the actual MB/s speed is, the 10.5” iPad Pro is about 55MB/s

deeply concerned about the speed per second!

Why is the apple card reader so slow though? Apple needs to do better.

The USB transfer speed is very slow on your iPad Pro with USB-C 3.1 port. I cannot see the file size in your video. But very probably 4 GB up 5 GB.
01 min 18 s = 52 MB/s - 65 MB/s (with the fast card reader).

My OnePlus 7 Pro phone can with smiliar size (1x 5 GB mkv video file) in 16s = 320 MB/s (6x faster). If I connect with the NVMe SSD to the device.

I copied mp4 files from my pc onto an sd card and tried importing via apple usb-c to sd reader. The iPad shows ‘’no photos to import"...I have the files in a DCIM folder and the are all 8 characters. I’m getting frustrated .... how did you get the video files to import in this video? My files are from a GoPro and a Sony camcorder.

I got a sandisk extreme card reader, with usb c male plug, but if i want to transfer directly to my iphone, i need a usb-c to lightning. Would this be possible? I have and exact link between the two but it wont confirm or pop up on my iphone? hmm

its not legit if you don't let the full video play, at least speed it up but don't cut. just saying. thanks for the video

Are these Sony XAVCS Files? I can only import them from the Cam (A7RIII) in MTP-Mode and it takes soo long. Will try a new cable today.

This is poor science. Missing specific metrics. What are video file sizes? Calculated transfer speeds? Time is less relevant than size and speed.
