I haven't been to Tallin. Would love to go there. Looks like it has a lot of character. My favourite European capital is Madrid.

It's sad that you put the Russian Orthodox cathedral into the thumbnail... It is uncharacteristic to the otherwise Lutheran medieval old town and it was built there as a symbol of Russian imperialism, which is the reason it is not liked at all by Estonians and there were even serious plans in the 1920s to demolish it as a symbol of occupation.

Just don't eat at the Town Hall Square, the restaurants and pubs there are twice as expensive and not very good. Walk 100m in any direction to find much better quality and value.
