Thanks for this video brother. I drove up from Florida to New York yesterday. I like my navigation system loud because I have my Sirius XM music going and for some reason the volume got lowered for the remainder of my trip when I was in Maryland entering Delaware. I was mind boggled how it happened? Now seeing your video. I now know I must have accidentally hit the volume button on my steering wheel as I was driving and talking to my wife at the same time. 😂😂😂

Your method adjusts car audio, but no effect on android auto. I think(?) Adjusting phone audio might help?

When I am talking on the phone (handsfree through my Passport) and a text message notification "dings", it breaks the eardrums of whomever is on the line (and me too). A "ding" is too short for me to adjust the volume. Any other suggestions?

This technique does not appear to work on aftermarket carplay tablets as they don't have any means to "read" in the volume signal from the car. As of ios15 which removed the "Navigation Voice Volume" setting, my Carlinkit carplay dashboard console for example now has VERY LOW siri voice volume during driving directions. The voice is very low compared to the music level so I'm constantly turning the volume up while Siri is speaking driving directions but as soon as the music resumes its WAY TOO LOUD. Anyone using after market carplay tablets have a solution for this?

Please. Hv had Honda Civic since 2017. Lately the map lady’s volume is extremely low and is not usable when driving.
The two volume turners do nothing. I can turn the radio up to 14 and the voice for the Map it’s still too soft to hear.

Also how can I turn the playlists/radio off and just hear calls, directions etc?

And i like to see the picture and name on my “ window” how can i get it there. It was there and then of course I probably did something stupid and now it’s gone and I can’t get it back. Thank you you

Mine still doesn't work on my 2023 Honda Ridgeline. maxes out at 11 on the volume screen.i have to turn off the radio to hear what it's saying.

I have a 2023 CRV with iPhone hooked up with a cable and every time it speaks(gps) air conditioning goes way down. I live in Arizona I don’t want it to turn air down?

How to adjust volume when playing a game on the phone with it hooked up to apple play? Neither volume adjusting methods work. It keeps a consistent volume level. I also tried adjusting the volume with the swipe down method.

I have a problem with the music volume going up after I get a notification on my phone (Music at lower volume>Gets Notif>Music at higher volume) it gets really annoying since I have to keep lowering it.
