All the Gen 2 impacts seem underpowered versus the Gen 1 tools but cost more. Idk why they changed something that wasn’t broken.

Torque test channel literally opened both of them up. And tested them on a dyno. This is a bullshit test and you know it. The only difference between the two is the Gen 2 has a newer motor that puts out more power later on in the torque band other than that they are almost identical.

Try a more control test . Maybe switch hands . Your right arm force may be more than your left . Also two different stumps and just one tool at a time . Idk just so many factors but thanks for the video I watch it to the end

They're wrenches, not drivers. Gen 2 has a higher torque output than the gen 1 as the hammer strikers faster over time, as the "wrenches" are meant to be used wrenching on threaded nuts and bolts.

Well if U only had 1 at the time of the needed task to be done. A few seconds faster don't matter to me. I have the Gen 1 & my oldest son has the gen 2

I should have kept my gen 1. My gen 2 doesnt perform as well.
