I bought the 8gig ram due to limited budget and I’m a software developer. Let me tell you my experience, this is a really good laptop and despite having 8 gig ram it’s performing A LOT better than my 12 gig ram intel laptop macOS does a truly wonderful job at memory management. As for thermal throttling I have not had any issue’s so far. I just don’t understand what these people do with their laptops 😑.

I have used this laptop for some real diehard 4k video editing and I have not yet encountered the slightest loadtime or lag whatsoever

I got mine with 512 ssd and 16 gb of ram and with the midnight color and it’s been great

But if you think about it, there is a large audience of casual users who want a larger display, I mean, if they made this machine professionally good, then why do the pros exist,
I have a friend or two who have no work but browsing watching and school, still buying external monitors cause 13” is too small, but 15” is the sweetest spot for an Air to exist

Like you selling it is a good decision as your workflow is intensive but this video comes off as negative for even the intended audience….hope you understand

I got an Air M2 13' with 500 SSD and 8 GB Ram. No issues despite quite a lot of Ram swap. No throttling. No heat problems. That thing is stunning. Will probably upgrade to one with 1 TB + 16 or 24 GB long term, though.

Your video is clueless. I use the 13" and it is an absolute beast all day every day with ANYTHING you can throw at it. And everyone comments on how great it looks. My suggestion is you sell yours because you don't deserve it... go get a chromebook - you have no clue.
