Mazda 3 Stage Pearl With Trainee

In this video, I will be doing some more training with my friend and co-worker Shijun, we will go through the paint work on this Mazda 3 in 25D Crystal White Pearl 3 layer using PPG Envirobase and LVC 136 clear.

Take some thinner to that cup and the red will clean right off. The cups I have are hand me downs from the last painter. I just clean then after every use

Hey Gunny..
Going to sound like a knob but here goes.
Noticed oldmate had a half face mask on.
I work in quarries where I have a Crystilline Silica dust issue on my sites that I manage(the dust thats killing stone masons) that ends with Silicosis.
We went through a process where any half mask had to be test fitted by a hygenist.
Suprising how many masks dont seal. We ended up getting $1500 positive pressure masks for those that work around the crushing and screening plants
Anyway, food for thought mate.
Been a while since i watched a vid and you're still killing it. Just did a motorcycle tank and sidecovers for a mate. Came out mint

Try 35% reduction on the mid coat, and you can go a lil heavier, have faster dry time and most likely get away with 2 coats. Well, that’s what I found out.

Im gling thru it with my shop roght now about Clear coat Its like placing a sheet of clear glass over a sheet of paper - It Changes the color This optical is a drag on colors such as Subaru PAF pastel grey. The optical will get you every time except when you purposely NOT bring your first coat of clear to the edge.... Instead bring 1st coat of clear to aboug 6" from edges & then full wet coat of clear for second
