Couple Discovers They're the Only Guests at 5-Star Resort

A Utah couple made an interesting discovery while vacationing in Mexico. Cameron and Carlee splurged on a five-star resort for their babymoon. Everywhere the couple went at the Grand Velas Resort, it was just the two of them. That’s when they realized they were the only guests. Turns out the resort was empty because it had just opened. Officials there say they operate at 100% no matter how many guests are there.

Genius marketing of a brand new resort! Do people actually believe that this wasn't the plan from the start? News coverage, going viral, you couldn't pay for this type of attention and I wouldn't be surprised if this couple is even in on it :) Again, well done whoever came up with this plan!

My husband and I booked 2 weeks at a Mexican resort in Isla Mujeres. There were only us and two other couples staying there the first week! The second week the resort was crowded.
Employees would get bored and start creating different new drinks and meals for us. We had the best service ever. The employees even gathered under our balcony one morning as we were eating breakfast to sing me Happy Birthday, lol! It was great!

If any resort deserves the "5 Stars" rating, it would absolutely be this one. I can't express how much respect I have for the decision-makers for offering FULL service for only 2 guests and cutting no corners or worrying about losing money. This is business integrity at its highest level. I wish them all the best!!!
