DJI Mic After 3 Months - It Got Me Now

We have been using now the DJI Mic for 3 months - I didn't care too much about this product in the beginning as it was released right in between the DJI Action 2 and the Mavic 3 drone. But now, I've been testing it and tweaking it to get the most out of it.

The Sennheiser wireless system is the gold standard in broadcasting and it is really good. I've worked with these mics forever. I got a RODE WiGO first edition and now the DJI Mic as well. I'd still say that the Sennheisers are superior to the other two in terms of signal strength and durability. In live TV I would not go with the DJI or Rode because the do cut out if you are not in line of sight. Also if you are in an environment with a lot of WiFi signals, they can interfere.
All that being said, in terms of convenience the DJI Mic wins hands down. If you are not doing live production and will be doing post anyway, the on-board recording will solve any drop out issues.

I have a dji wireless microphone that I had included in the pocket 2 combo and I found it very practical. I would be interested in buying this microphone set because it can record my voice and that of my husband who occasionally make videos together. Question: If I am around filming and I keep turning the camera off and on to film if I leave the microphones on do they have a battery saving system or do I have to turn them off every time? Knowing I forget to turn them on and film with the microphone off.

It took months but I was finally able to order one as the last piece of my travel setup. The DJI Mic has been extremely hard to come by as it seems that everyone knows how good it is, and the supply chain issues seem to be impacting manufacturing. Im so excited to test this thing out and it should be a huge improvement compared to my mini rode mic.

I have some difficulties with using the DJI MIC; the signal between the receiver and transmitters is not stable enough; I have to make the transmitter/recorder recording at the same time, then pull out the audio file from the transmitter and add it in my post to solve the signal issue. 2nd, you have no way to conceal the transmitter without using a lavaliere mic, but the problem is there is no locking component on the transmitter's mic jack, which means it is easily pulled off and screwed up.
Even with all the problems I have with the DJI MIC, it is a great audio gear for content creators. For client works or any serious works, it is better to go for a piece of more professional gear, such as zoom f2, tentacle track E, or any other similar product at the equivalent level.

mind blown... trying to get into compact audio/video/photo system... this with a 14 pro a gimbal and a monopod.... done. 90% of what you need in a small back pack. add 2 ....yn-300 led compact lights (remotely operated) and stands and there are going to be very few instances you are going to need more

I don't like A or B mics, but I prefer A out of the two. B had way too much wind noise.
