When my father passed away in 1989, i told the Lord - i may have lost my earthly Father, yet from now on You will become my Heavenly Father. And He proved faithful since then more than my earthly father.❤😊

Gotta say...I had a good Dad, but when he died, I instantly thought of God as a mean, horrible God who didn't care about me anymore, knowing the lifelong impact losing my Dad would have on me. What a terrible thing to inflict on a kid. I'm now well into adulthood and my concept of God is wonky.

God is not our Father, He is our Creator.

Why do you call him Father?? Our lord is better to say
