Top laptops after all the tests:
- M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14-core. Top laptop for professional creators.
- Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (Intel Ultra 9 185H CPU). Jack of all trades laptop and best creator laptop for Windows users.
- Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 13.8-inch for Windows ecosystem heavy users, especially for business and Azure cloud users.
- Asus ZenBook S 14 (Lunar Lake version) full X86 software compatibility with excellent battery life.
- Asus ZenBook S 16 (AMD Zen 5 version) full X86 software compatibility with better multi-core performance than Lunar Lake.
- M3 Air. Great for general web browsing and college students not majoring in engineering nor finance/economics/accounting.

I love when you guys include creators of the up-and-coming channels. Of course Moooniiiizz and JT are heavy hitters (though JT not being at 1m subs yet is one of the most baffling things in tech youtube), and Just Josh has been well on his way to heavy hitter status for a good year now. But Alex from NotebookcheckReviews is one of my favorites at less than 100k subs. I always give a half smile when he refers to the laptops he's testing as 'puppies.' Anyway, just wanted to mention how cool it is to see these other creators collaborating with HC. Happy holidays fellas. Keep up the great work.

Never thought i'd see the day where apple dominates both the high end and low end of the market. Simply becuase PC manufacturers got greedy--it's usually the other way around.

I just picked up the proart p16 2 weeks ago, Bestbuy had it down to $1599, that was to much to pass up at that point. And I am not a gamer, so the 60 hz is fine for me editing photos and video.

Nice to see multiple opinions on such a delicate topic.

I'm not sure where your disappointment is with the X Elite chips. I bought a Surface Laptop 7 for myself and a Lunar Lake Lenovo for my fiancé. The X Elite scored 2309/13009 on Geekbench and the Lunar Lake scored 2659/10717. The Lunar Lake was slightly better on single core but slightly worse on multi-core. It's hard to tell, but I think I'm getting slightly better battery life on the X Elite. The only thing I've found that doesn't work on the X Elite is my company's VPN client. Considering that the Lunar Lake processors were a one-off that Intel won't be reproducing, I feel like the X Elite is a solid choice as long as the things you need are available on ARM.

Budget + Important feature = the right selection.

3:46 locking an already built in processor upgrade behind a 100$ paywall is a big no no! Screw that!

Can't say I agree with Jarrod's pick, but shoutout for the Be'lakor shirt! Good taste in music at least.

As an former gaming laptop detractor, I am so happy to see how powerful and how such good presentation gaming laptops have.
