First of all, dental hygienists do need a degree. It’s an associates that usually requires a year of prerequisites. Second, they are supposed to go under your gums. That’s part of a dental cleaning.

You missed some, all relating to IT. There are tons of cyber security certs out there that cost a few hundred dollars and many will pay over 80k with no experience.

Entry level role Sw engineer here making ~200k. The 140k estimation for top earners is way low.

radiation therapist also requires a college degree. the college I went to had a program for RT that was a 4 year program, this list is questionable.

Ken you do people a disservice by just passing this on. Research it first then give your listeners real information. You did not state how much education you do need - sure it may not 4 years - but there is education required for some of these or apprentices or a long wait to get in for elevators. Educate your listeners!

Elevator installation and repair is a craft entirely by itself. You go through an apprenticeship. The trades have something called a Blue Collar Degree. Hundreds of hours of school and thousands of hours on the job training. When they complete their journey they make the “top” pay. You earn your way up. It’s funny that people still believe a college degree is an automatic money maker. It’s simply learning a different craft. Instead of labor it typically involves soft skills.

Dental hygienist need a degree and to be licensed! With many pre-requisites similar to Pre-Med degrees. I don't know of a single hygienist that makes six figures, and would be interested to see where that information came from. Dental Hygienists also don't get many other benefits such as: PTO, Sick days, minimal vacation time, health insurance. When you factor in these elements and the actual salary, we are far from a great field to get in to make money. I'm with Jennifer as well, going below the gums is a good and thorough cleaning.

3:50 elevator jobs - heck yeah. I was once in the elevator when two OTIS workers got on and I genuinely said, "Whoa, you guys are important! I'm glad I have my red wings on, too. No really, about 2 years ago I was stuck in one of these and I am so grateful that you guys make the elevators work." I then midwestern joked that I need to get my red wings dirtier and they chuckled.
