i laughed five minutes about the hospital scene… my mom died tragically last week, this is the only series I can watch right now to pause from grieving 24/7. and it even made me laugh so good. 🙏🏻 Heaven sent.

I love this cheers business. Now I have been alive for almost 50 years but it is only in the last few years that I have heard the English say cheers like this. Otherwise I have only heard it when someone is raising a glass. Have the English been saying this only in recent times or have they been saying cheers (in place of goodbye not as a toast) for the last hundred years? It does seem to have a different flavor from goodbye.
