Basically
Daniel's mom had a relationship with jiyoung but Daniel's mom betry him and married jiyoung's best friend jiyoung didn't know anything between Daniel's mom and his best friend's relationship. Okay so i came up with a theory, i think daniel's mother is not his real mother, we saw that jinyoung and the man daniel's mother married were friends, jinyoung is a handsome guy, he may have wed someone or slept with someone from which daniel was born and because the times were so dangerous so jinyoung gave his son to his friend so that they can take care of him, and maybe somehow jinyoung's friend died while he was trying to protect jinyoung, that's why daniel's grandmother was so angry on jinyoung. And from that time daniel's mother took care of daniel like her own that's why she was so scared of daniel knowing who jinyoung was, because that way daniel would know that she is not his real mother

I came up with a half-baked theory, but I thought it's not impossible and that would be that the ability to copy is related to genetics (but believe me, genetics is very complicated and there may be several ways in which Daniel and Johan could have had this "copying gene").

1. The simplest theory is that one of the parents had the ability to copy, I think it does not need any further explanation because it is the first thing we think of.

2. The combination of gens from both parents in the child can lead to the expression of certain characteristics or diseases (but what interests us is the "copying gene"). For example, mutation in one gen can affect the function of another gene, which could result in the "copier gen."

3. The "copier gen" could follow a recessive inheritance pattern. Meaning that this gen only manifests itself if the individual inherits two mutated copies of the gen (one from each parent). That is, if only one of the parents is a carrier of that specific gen, the child will only inherit a mutated copy and will not develop the "copying gen".

4. Parents may be asymptomatic carriers of a genetic mutation, meaning they would have the "copying gene" but do not show symptoms of possessing that gen. There is only a 25% chance that the child is not asymptomatic like her parents and does present the symptoms of this gen.

5. Epigenetics also plays a role. Environmental factors can affect gen expression without changing the secondary DNA. Even if neither parent has the "copier gen, " epigenetic factors can influence gene expression in their children. I don't know about you, but this is clearly the case with Haru from Quest Supremacy, as she was not an innate copyer like Daniel and Johan, but rather she learned to copy.

I think it's Daniel's father. When you see his picture with Jinyoung, he also had one finger missing, he also had same physique as his father. Missing finger is also a sign that he was from Yakuza, it can be Yamazaki or some other Yakuza clan since his UI is different from Yamazakis.

My theory: Jinyoung maybe is daniel's father cuz him inheriting the copy ability is what only Jinyoung originally had .
I dont think johan seong is related to Jinyoung in any way, this is because it is already stated in a chapter that there was no family member of seong family who was able to copy, johan was the one who has started buliding the seong family legacy .
The reason Daniel has ui is because of his mother, maybe he's mother is related to the yakuza clan, as we know that gun and his father from yakuza clan are able to be in ui mode constantly so at the end his mother is related to yakuza clan(gun's family)and that's why Daniel is able to go ui .
Maybe Jinyoung park's group and the head of yakuza clan already had beef between each other where Jinyoung married a woman from the yakuza clan which was Daniel's mother, after the yakuza's got to know about this, she probably got ejected from the clan and also the head got mad at her and went to fight the Jinyoung group .
Jinyoung got defeated by the head of yakuza clan (gun's father) and here where the twist comes, the whole fist gang band up against him and were able to beat the crap out of him ...
By knowing the war like things going on, Jinyoung has to hide his wife and son from everyone. So that, he had a friend (whom we consider as Daniel's dad), so that Jinyoung got his woman married to his friend and they lived a well and good life whereas the fist gang had fallen, and now every member of the gang had to relay on some other stuff and hide themselves, so did Jinyoung, he got into the workers to hide there and after knowing about the death of his best friend (Gapyrong) he took drugs to forget
