6:00, right across the table, was a mom with an elementary student. they were studying together. looked like she was asking the kid questions, and the kid was trying to answer them. nowadays, for new generations of tibetans, education has become top priority of families.

I am from Ladakh, my grand parents visited Lasa before 1962 and they told us they traveled from Demjok to Lasa and Mount Kalash by riding on horse and Yak. I also want to visit Lasa one day .... ..

I took a trip to Tibet 10 years ago, visited Lahsa, Shigatse then rented a car to visit the Everest Base Camp. The view along the way is definately epic. Altitude sickness in Tibet is very common and normal, but becomes a unique memory when you go back to the daily routine life.

I went to Tibet one time, I took by train around 50 hours, but the view on the way was so amazing, and the Tibet temple and culture are also attractive, really hope can visit again!

Always good to see you happy and healthy! Jordan looking healthier too, much better than months ago, though not so good with the altitude. Good to see you two traveling together again as you had much synergy going on in the early days. Personally, I think Jordan doesn't get enough meat/fish protein, but I'm a bit biased.
