Lonelandlord, thanks for this video. Very helpful as we also have a STR duplex that can have wide variances in guest numbers and water usage. Any updates for us? Putting the unit in sleep during peak guest periods would work for us plus you could put the unit on a wife based smart plug so that you could turn the unit on and off from an app like Home Assistant or Govee. Please let me/us know how the unit has worked for your short term rental that is two hours away, ours is 2000 miles away! I am now a subscriber. Jeff

What you called the extra extension piece is what you use to measure where to cut the main pipe so the unit fits snug when installed

The part referred to as an ''extension piece'' is a bypass jumper so you will still have water if your FLO device ever fails.

Enjoyed your video. Noticed you didn't install a 100 mesh strainer before the Moen valve. Has that caused you any issues? I am preparing to install a unit on my well after the pressure tank and before my iron filter and water softner.

Was talking to Proper Insurance agent today. They no longer offer a discount on insurance having this installed. Reason was that it shuts off intermittently and at the wrong times since the system is based on ongoing usage and with a STR it is very inconsistent use.

Great Video! Seems like a great device for peace of mind. I also have a STR cabin in the mountains. I'm also looking into a hot water recirculating pump for the cold winter season to prevent water freezing in the pipes...keeps the water flowing throughout the cabin at a desired time. After your experience with the device what do you think about this device with my application?

have you had an issue with the valve shutting off on the renters? we have issues with multiple showers causing abnormal usage alerts and thus shutting off. looking for an answer to this issue
