The era of the Hungary-Serbia railway has begun!

The Hungary-Serbia Railway, connecting the two capitals, was once the slowest in Europe, with a commuting time of up to 8 hours. However, with China's help, the railway has been upgraded to a high-speed line with a maximum speed of 200 km/h. The project was launched in 2013 as part of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Despite EU countries' initial reluctance, China's infrastructure expertise and lower costs won out. The railway's Serbian section was opened to traffic in 2022, and the Hungarian section is expected to be completed in 2025. China's high-speed EMU entered Europe for the first time in June 2024, marking a major breakthrough in the export of Chinese high-end rail transit equipment.

China rehabilitated the Smederevo steel mill and restarted its Cukaru copper mine in Serbia. China's BYD is building an NEV factory and CATL is building a battery factory in Hungary. Eastern Europe is seeing a resurgence in industrial might as Western Europe is seeing a decline.

The more the US and EU castrate Hungary and Serbia, the more they will move towards the East for the win-win development of their technology and economies. Recently Hungary applied and was granted 1 billion euro working capital loan from China and this devastated the withholding of funds by EU.

EU is a hindrance to customized development for the individual member country. EU is doomed to fail and disintegrate for such a reason. Serbia and Hungary will be joined by other 'EU' members gradually. Italy is quietly visiting China. Germany has a good working relationship with China too.
